Intro post

I am Kain and this is the first time I've even though about making an intro post, but here I am

About

I am a rather reserved person who spent like 15 years in fandom lurking, and I am trying to finally become more sociable and *gasp* make internet friends! It's very hard and habits are hard to kick, but I think I am doing much better than before.

I am Mexican, my first language is Spanish and I don't really mind any pronouns. I am an artist who writes sometimes (I am trying to do that more, I have trouble finishing my writings. Also, I am always looking for a beta reader!)

Fandoms

Most of my fandoms are anime related. I dislike big fandoms because of some very traumatic experiences I had, so I tend to stay in older and smaller fandoms. Currently my biggest obsessions are:

• Saint Seiya
• Hikaru no go

So expect most of my post to be related to that. I also like other shows, for example:

• Yu-Gi-Oh
• Fullmetal Alchemist (2003 only. I can only describe my relationship with manga/BH as: that ex that hangs out with all your friends so you can't avoid as much as you'd like)
• Revolutionary girl Utena
• X/1999
• Anything CLAMP
• Haibane renmei
• Etc

So I will sometimes talk about these

I want to turn my dreamwidth in a place where I can decompress and relax when the rest of social media becomes too much.

Making a list so I don't forget

• Finish my neocities site (if someone can help me code I would be very grateful 🥲🙏🏻)

• Participate in a lot of fanwork events
• Practice my writing more
• Draw faster
• Talk more to people
• Update my dreamwidth more often
• Finish my hikago zine
• Try to revive the saint Seiya and Hikago dreamwidth communities
• Post my stuff in AO3
• Get to 700 followers in twitter
