Hi. I think I already shared a bit in my introduction post, but I'll see what else I can say about myself

• I go by Kain in social media, I'm in my late 20s, and I don't really have preferred pronouns. Just, use the pronouns you use for yourself with me :3c
• I like purple and turtles, I have a dog and his name is filomeno
• I started to read fics and getting into fandom when I was 8, so I remember stuff I should have been too young for.
• I played all the Pokemon games up until sun & moon, since then I have been disillusioned with the franchise and haven't really interacted with it much
• I stay in dead fandoms on purpose because witnessed a lot of abuse and harassment in big fandoms and I got a bit traumatized. I also like fandoms with big latino/asian population and almost not English fandom because they're more peaceful
• I kind of hate discord
• I love to participate in zines and collaborative fanish projects because i work better with a deadline
• I was a lurker in fandom for a long time because I took the "stranger danger" instructions seriously (8 years old)
• I only started participating in fandom in 2019, before that I had never done any fanart or fanfic. My first ever fanart and fanfic were of Naruto

feel like I just rambled instead of saying anything insteresting, Soo, dear reader, what is your favorite color? Do you have a pet? If yes, what's their name?

I totally agree with you on the dead or small fandom aspect! Dead fandoms are especially fascinating because you can find really well done fanfiction and art that is like nearly as old as I am lol

Yessss, I have been searching all over livejournal and finding so many forgotten gems!
The bad part is when a beloved work disappears from internet and the only thing you found is people in 2009 talking about how good that fic was :')

When fics get deleted it's so sad :((( I remember this one amazing fic I read in highschool and one day it was just suddenly gone. I think the author had pretty much wiped themselves off the internet.

Yeah... I am pretty sure that my favorite fic from 2006 got nuked in the fanfiction.net purge :c it was never finished but I still loved to reread it from time to time until one day it was gone
This is why I am saving fics I found in livejournal now :')
