I remember very little of the movie “Pan’s Labyrinth“, since I was very little when I watched it, but I still remember a scene that made me cry and the reason of why I never re watched that godforsaken movie

Its a scene where the villain’s soldiers capture two civilian men who are out in the woods hunting rabbits. The Captain comes in to question them, suspecting they may be rebels. The older of the men insists that they are mere farmers. When the younger man backs that claim up, he grabs a bottle and brutally bashes his face in with it. Then he shoots both of them to finish them off.

The worst part? After killing son and father, he retrieves their bags, finding the god damn rabbit inside, proving that they were saying the truth

The monsters of the movie were ugly and all that, but the cruel and brutal way those men where killed is a chilling kind of terror that haunts me to this day, and far more frightening than any monster
